I am not a number one fan of Star Trek but when I read the positive comments/reviews on FB, Twitter by others, I said why not. So as usual on Saturday being our family day after having late lunch at the Mall Food Court, we caught the 3pm show. And yes, true enough, Star Trek the Movie was superb! I remember Star Trek (the series) being aired on RTB when I was a small kid and at that time, it was entertaining… maybe because there was no Astro or Satellite TV at that time so, we all had to watch RTB *no offence to RTB*. So for those of you whom have yet to decide whether to see it or not (like I was), I strongly recommend that you do.

I’d like to say Happy Mother’s Day to all Mothers out there especially to my Mom, Babu (MIL), Babu (my grandmother) and others… We had a Mother’s Day Dinner at the Seasons Restaurant on Saturday Night. The place was packed. The entertainment was great but I was a bit disappointed on the Menu. I expected more variaties, considering we are paying $30.00 per head. But oh well, I guess we can’t complain much. Total of 20 of us came for the Dinner which included my parents, my brothers with their wife and kids and also Babu and Buaming.

We had a great time. Its not always that all the family members dapat kumpul-kumpul like this… Thanks all for coming! We shall do this again some other time. I heard that someone proposed the next one to be done on ‘Fathers Day’? (And I also heared that fathers were extremely jealous that the mothers were receiving all the gifts and such). Ok we’ll let the Fathers do the organising for that… hehehe…

Sunday, the actual Mothers Day, as usual I had to send off Nanee for her extra class at school so I took the opportunity to drop by the gym. Managed to do 20 laps on the 50m pool before going in the Sauna for 15 mins. I don’t know why but its either the Sauna not heating up or there’s other reasons why I don’t sweat when I was in the sauna. I then went into my favourite place which is the steam bath. This is where I do a thorough body scrub and cream bath my hair as well. This place makes you sweat! Lastly, I went into the hot water jacuzzi… so refreshing indeed… Picked up Nanee from school and headed home to cook lunch…The hubby bought tiger prawns, which were really big…nyaman!

Afternoon, we did nothing but watched TV. The hubby had training at 4pm so it was just me and the kids. Around 5pm, we decided to go out to buy something for Deeya who is having an advanced birthday BBQ later that night. We went to VS to pick out something then stopped by Express to have a quick snack before going home. In the evening went to Deeya’s place and had BBQ there. Boy, it was so hot… I mean the weather. Not even a small breeze… Anyway, thanks Deeya for inviting us and Happy Advance Birthday to you and Happy Belated Birthday to Faiz. And oh… I found out another cousin is ‘expecting’ this year *you know who you are*. Congratulations! *Babu told us last night*
