I’m just too lazy to blog or upload pictures here on our Miri & Kg. Ayer Trip so just click the first picture to view “Miri Trip” and bottom picture to view “Kg. Ayer Trip”!
Its been a hectic day today. In fact its been a really hectic week with lots of happenings and I have so much to blog about that I don’t know where to begin.
But most importantly I would like to start off by giving my prayers to Anna Ruhyda who is currently unwell and admitted at RIPAS Hospital. We just got back from visiting her at the ICU and this makes me real emotional on seeing her like this. Please do convey your prayers to her too for her fast recovery. Sometimes we just do not know what will happen to us. One day you are fit and well and the next its the opposite. Our Doa’s are always with you Anna. To my brother Azim, if you’re reading this post, as I mentioned to you earlier and I’ll mention it again, be strong, banyak-banyak berdoa and insyallah, Anna will recover soon! We look forward to your arrival next week.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, my day today has been really ‘tiring’. Upon arrival at the office I have tons of work waiting for me. My workstation is a mess with my table full of papers. Yesterday I managed to complete our Progress Claim for one project and submitted to Consultant. This morning finished another Progress Claim for another project and also submitted to Consultant. If you are familiar with the construction environment, submission of Progress Claims means lots and lots of paperwork. Normally I am not involved the in preparation of these claims but since the person in charge is on a one month leave back to his home country, the responsibility has come to me.
In the middle of doing the claims, a call comes from the project site. One worker is apparently very sick was diagnosed as having tuberculosis (TB) by the doctors. He is requesting to go back to his own country to seek medical treatment. I replied that ok I will arrange probably in a few days time. Then the site clerk told me that this worker is in very serious condition and is vomiting blood. Oh gosh. I stopped all my works and called our ticketing agent to check for the next flight out to his country which is tomorrow at 10.45am. Quickly booked his ticket and called our head office to arrange for his necessary visa arrangements. By noon, I managed to finish my claims and instructed the driver to drop off the claims to the Consultant right after lunch.
Thanks to the girls & hubby for preparing lunch *you guys just saved my day*. Did’nt stay long after lunch since I had to rush to two places (normally sampat lagi liat tv and catch a few zzzz *shhhh*). First stop was to check on the adapter for the laptop. Bad news, the adapter is no longer under warranty so ‘mau inda mau’ I had to purchase a new HP adapter which costs me $120!! Then I went to the ticketing agent to collect ticket for the worker leaving tomorrow. Arrived back at the office at about 2.30pm. The rest of the afternoon was spent making sure that everything was arranged for the workers departure tomorrow morning. Lets hope he’s fine till then!
Around a quarter to five, received an sms from the hubby saying that he is at JPMC Gym. Actually I was really tired but since I already missed gym yesterday, I replied to the hubby that I’ll also go there after work. I aleady packed my gym bag during lunch *nope actually it was already packed since yesterday but I didnt go….. hehe* so I went straight to the gym. Did 15mins on the threadmill, some arms exercise with the dumbells and then joined the one hour Body Jam class. I really enjoy this class. Its the only class that I join every week. Even the instructer asks why I only join her Body Jam class which is every Tuesday and not her other classes… answer to that is simple, I like the steps which is like a dance routine plus salsa, chacha…
Arrived home from the gym at around 7.30pm and quickly told the kids to get ready to go to the hospital to visit Anna.
Its now past 11.30pm and I’m still blogging *although I said that I was tired*. I’m in the middle of uploading pictures from my camera which includes pictures of our Kg. Ayer Trip last 19 June (will blog about that some other time) and our Miri Trip last weekend (will not blog about that, maybe just post up some pictures), my new ‘free’ iPod Shuffle (again will try to post about that soon) and also not forgetting my review on the new OMNI connection at home (arrgh I so wanna tell everyone about this) but I guess all these will have to wait. Its time get some zzzz… So I’ll finish off this post with again mendoakan agar Anna lekas sihat, Amin!
Till next time.. good nite everyone!
Oh I nearly forgot, Happy Birthday to my niece Nonong whose birthday is today… Happy Birthday Nonong, hmm lama nda jumpa!
I don’t know if I should be angry or what. I was about to blog about the iPod shuffle I won from HSBC but I’m not in the mood now!
I came home from work today and after my Asar prayers, I took out my laptop. And guess what I found! I’m sure if I ask the girls, no one will want to admit. So we’ll just make it simple. Mama’s Laptop is off limits to everyone with effect from now! The password will be changed and no Guest accounts will be made available…
Fortunately, the laptop is still under one year warranty and I just hope that they will replace the charger. I’m not blaming anyone but, just pray that the supplier will replace the charger when I bring it to them tomorrow. I’m currently using hubby’s laptop since I am unable to switch on mine due to battery 0%. I was planning to upload pictures of our recent Kg. Ayer & Miri trip, but I guess it will have to wait. So girls, what do have to say on this???
